are you satisfied with an average life?

Hey I am a dancer, and I was wondering if you had any good tips to help get leg extensions to be longer and when in the air, higher. For me, the side extension is the hardest. Do you have any good tips on getting the side extension on developes higher?

in developes to the side, try to get your knee up as high as you can next to your body before unfolding the leg, and use your obliques to keep it up there. for flexibility, try to stretch your side splits a lot, and do this stretch (image isn’t mine):

if your flexibility is good, it might be your strength that is lacking. if that is the case, work more on strengthening your core. it doesn’t matter how high you can kick your leg if you don’t have the strength to hold it there! hope i helped :)
